Power Bracelet

Link has since ripped apart and devoured the power bracelet.  I'm sure this was in a maddened effort to somehow absorb its strength.  After a few days of worrying, considering having the vet pump his stomach (which would most likely be unsuccessful according to the vet's advice), contemplating expensive and invasive surgery that could cost us up to $3000 we did not have, and finally helpless crying, Link eventually coughed up half the bracelet, leaving the rest to emerge in what was indeed a very powerful duece.  I wasn't there at the time, but I'm sure this was the sound it made:  CLICK

A Keeper

Ok, this is the last webcomic within a webcomic for a while, I promise.  Beau actually said that regarding the GiL header up there and it was just too good (and sweet) to pass up.

Speaking of sweet, that cake slice on my table is an actual cake plushie I had custom made at my very first convention.  I wish I could remember the girl's name or website, because it really is a quality piece of felt work and embroidery!

For those of you who hadn't already guessed by my willingness to commission an inedible cake, I am quite the food geek.  I even started a photo album of amazing food I've either made or consumed at restaurants entitled "Why I'm a Hobbit."  Although I enjoy cultivating a wide range of tastes, cake just so happens to be one of my favorite things to geek about.  My favorite cake of all time is any combination of chocolate and strawberry.  My mom actually used to make me chocolate cake with strawberry icing in the shape of a heart every year on my birthday.  And later a friend of mine made me chocolate cake and actually put strawberries into the chocolate icing.  If they ever made a chocolate-strawberry cake at my cake joint of choice, I would probably have to move in and eat only that until my teeth fell out or I became diabetic.

*Next week's strip promises to be a true tribute to geekdom!

Boring

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!  And what better day to premier a comic about a loving pair geeks?  In this episode we see just how easy it is to come up with material when you make a comic about yourself!  ...Er, at least it seemed like it would be.

New strips should be available every Monday starting...  Now!  Enjoy.
